Ruth W. Reynolds

Ruth W. Reynolds, 81, of Lake Placid, Fla., passed away Tuesday morning Nov. 26, 2013, at her residence.

She was born Feb. 8, 1932, in Naugatuck, Conn. to Ruth and William Wood. A retired bookkeeper, Mrs. Reynolds moved to Ft. Lauderdale from Connecticut and then to Lake Placid 20 years ago. She was a member of the Ladies of the Elks, Women of the Moose, Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion and was of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Reynolds enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Reynolds is survived by her husband of 49 years, John; a daughter, Cydney Webster; son Damon Reynolds; step-daughters, Edith, Joyce and Charlotte; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Wood.

An inurnment service to celebrate Mrs. Reynolds’ life will be held next spring in Connecticut. Cremation arrangement were entrusted with Scott Funeral Home, Lake Placid, FL.
