Jacquelyn H. Coy, 79, of Lake Placid, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at her residence.

A native of Miami, she was born June 7, 1934, to Helen and Herbert Hagelgans. Mrs. Coy moved to Lake Placid from Kendall where she retired as a real estate broker. She was a member of the Lake Placid Women’s Club, Ladies of the Shriners and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed traveling in her motor home, taking cruises, going to the casinos and spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Coy is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert “Bob” Coy; son Roy Bowling; stepdaughter Barbara Markinson; two grandsons, David and Roy; and a sister, Babs Robson.

A service to celebrate Mrs. Coy’s life will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Scott Funeral Home, 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid, with Pastor Andrew C. Conyer officiating.

Cremation services were entrusted with Scott Funeral Home, Lake Placid.
