Harriette ‘Chickee’ Noble

Harriette “Chickee” Noble, 77, of Lake Placid, Fla., died Monday, March 3, 2014, at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring.

Born in New York, on March 1, 1937, to Rose and Mack Sommers, she worked for the Everglades School System in Collier County and retired after 22 years. She and her husband, Dennis, moved to Lake Placid eight years ago. Mrs. Noble was a member of the Placid Temple Church of God.

Mrs. Noble is survived by her husband; children Bonita L. Taylor, Tracy Malally, and Darrin E. Noble; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorial services will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the devotion of Michael A. Brochetti Funeral Home, Lake Placid.
