Frank Donald Hutchins Jr.

Frank Donald Hutchins Jr., 93, of Sebring, Fla., died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Sunny Hills.

A native of Weehawken, N.J., Mr. Hutchins had lived in this area for over 30 years. He was a member of Leisure Lakes Baptist Church in Lake Placid, Highlands Organ Society, and Highlands County Amateur Radio Club, holding a HAM operator license since 1931 with the call W2MAV. He was a railroad enthusiast with a working train system traveling a half mile track around his home at the Iron Horse Ranch. He enjoyed traveling worldwide.

Mr. Hutchins was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara. He is survived by five sons, Dana Hutchins of Allentown, N.J., David Hutchins of Beachwood, N.J., Roger Hutchins of Perth, Australia, Jeffrey Hutchins of San Mateo, Calif., and Curtis Hutchins of Glen Rock, N.J; two brothers, Don and Allen, both of Hutchins, N.J.; and four grandchildren, Jason, Mark, Sarah and Greg Hutchins.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 29 at 2 p.m. at Leisure Lakes Baptist Church with Pastor Don Roberts officiating.

Arrangements were under the direction of Fountain Funeral Home, Avon Park.
