Gary P. McGrady, of Lake Placid, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014. He was 70.

Born March 23, 1944 in Glen Cove, N.Y., he managed an apartment complex in Sagamore, Mass. while working for Pairpoint Glass Co. as a supervisor from 1973-1988. Mr. McGrady then moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where he managed the Kapolani Bel-Aire condominiums. He had been a Lake Placid resident for the past 23 years and from 1991-1999 was an installer for Central Florida Lindsey. An avid ham amateur radio operator with the call sign KG4ERZ, he was a member of the Highlands County Radio Club and ARES. Mr. McGrady enjoyed fishing and boating. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church.

Mr. McGrady is survived by his wife, Lois; brothers-in-law, Max, Arthur and Frank; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his foster mother, Catherine Marmorella.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 5 at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church. Rev. Elizabeth Nelson will celebrate. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to St. Francis of Assisi, Building Fund, 43 Lake June Rd., Lake Placid, Fl. 33852.

Memorial arrangements are under the devotion of Michael A. Brochetti Funeral Home, Lake Placid.
