Willard Daniel Durrance

Willard Daniel Durrance, 71, of Ft. Myers, died Friday, July 4, 2014, in Bonita Springs in the companionship of his family.

Born Sept. 9, 1942, in Ft. Green, he was the son of Bonita and Willard Dow Durrance. He had been a resident of the Ft. Myers area for 33 years and a citrus grower in Collier County. Mr. Durrance also was a fertilizer representative for IMC and Florida Favorite. He served in the National Guard.

Mr. Durrance is survived by his wife, Sharon Y. Pollard Durrance; daughter Melanie Lyn Daughtry (Rusty), and son Craig Daniel Durrance. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Placid Temple Church of God with Pastor Jack Cochran celebrating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be sent to Hope Hospice, 27200 Imperial Parkway, Bonita Springs, Fl. 34135.
