Rain-slick road blamed in crash

At least one person was injured and transported by ambulance to an area hospital Monday when an SUV collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer rig on U.S. 27, just south of Josephine Creek. Heavy rain and a slick roadway were said to be contributing causes in the crash.
