Wayside Baptist holds conference
There will be an Annual Winter Bible Conference at Wayside Baptist Church at 6 p.m. Friday night and Saturday as well as at 11 a.m. Sunday.
Dr. Bob White speaks on the subject of “Prophesy.”
Friday night’s topic will be The Future of Israel; Saturday night’s The Return of the King; and Sunday morning’s The Rapture of the Church.

American Legion All You Can Eat Breakfast
American Legion 71 Honor Guard will hold an “All You Can Eat” buffet breakfast at the Lake Wales Memorial Post 71, from 7 to 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 19.
Cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children up to 12.

The Breeze Country Singing Duo to perform in Auburndale
Cindie and Bill Breeze, country singing duo from Lexington, Ky., has a Lakeland version of America’s Got Talent, they say, in a press release issued Monday.
In Auburndale, auditions are at 4:30 p.m. every Friday. A professional caretaker, wife, mother and grandmother, the release says Cindie well knows the long-term value of imparting the feeling of self-esteem and self-value to her charges at a young and tender age.
Appearing at the International Market World in Auburndale with their five-piece Country Breeze Band, Cindie and Bill say they feel privileged to share their years of professional experience to assist all young aspiring entertainers between the ages of 8 to 18 every Friday starting at 4:30 p.m. (show time is 6 to 9 p.m.).
The International Market World is a family venue with free magic animal circus and music shows every weekend. So, for youngsters looking to launch an entertainer career or those who want to showcase their singing or playing talent, parents are encouraged to bring them out for an appearance audition any at 4:30 p.m. Friday.
