Work continues to expand the U.S. 98 from County Road 540A to Winter Lake Road from four to six lanes. Motorists should expect northbound and/or southbound lane closures during the nighttime/overnight hours of 6:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for several months, as crews install roadway drainage pipe, add drainage pipe beneath driveways and widen the roadway.

Traffic on U.S. 98 from south of Autumnwood Grove Boulevard to north of Lake Hancock Road will be shifted onto newly constructed travel lanes in order for crews to demolish the old bridge over Banana Creek.

From west of Broadway Avenue to west of U.S. 17 drivers should watch for intermittent nighttime lane closures both east and westbound through Thursday, Jan. 16 while crews place permanent roadway markings, including arrows and stop bars. Use caution and watch for changes in the traffic pattern. Weather permitting, this project will be completed by the early February.

Drivers should expect intermittent lane closures on State Road 37 while crews erect bridge beams and piles in Mulberry.
