The entire student population at Spook Hill Elementary School burst into dance with movements choreographed by both Coach Rob Highley and Coach Sharon Camden with help from the music department to present the annual Rhythm Day on March 21 at the school in front of an audience of parents and friends.

“Coach Ron Kingrey started the rhythm event and dance moves years ago,” said Spook Hill Principal Eric Edwards. “It has become a tradition here. The movements are taught in PE and showcased today for parents. Some presentations are more skilled than others and become more complicated at the higher levels,” Edwards said.

The second-graders used parachutes as props to team dance and march to music. Older students incorporated other props to their choreography.
