Police are searching for a burglary and sexual battery suspect.
According to reports, as part of the ongoing May burglary and sexual battery investigation which occurred in the block of Emerald Avenue, detectives from the Lake Wales Police Department coordinated a meeting between the 68-year-old female victim and a forensic sketch artist. Based on the description provided by the victim, the artist constructed this drawing of the suspect.
The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s. He is clean shaven with a thin build, 5’ 7” – 5’ 9,” with a medium to dark complexion. He was wearing a red hoodie-style sweatshirt, blue denim jeans, and black or dark colored shoes with white markings. The victim stated the suspect was polite.
