Lillian J. Deleruyelle, died Sept. 23, 2013. Although she had become ill over the past several months, she lived a full and rich life, living and dying by her own terms.

Born in Brownsville, Pa., she was the youngest of eight brothers and sisters. She moved to Vineland, N.J. and established a life there, while wintering in Florida, eventually moving to Lake Wales, Fla. She loved to garden, listen to music of all kinds, especially Broadway musicals. She was an avid reader, and could prepare wonderful meals for friends and guests.

Her sister, Margaret Smith of Lakeland, Fla.; and her son, David M. Juras (M. Elliott) Gainesville, Fla. survive her, as well as many nieces and nephews.

There will be no public funeral or memorial services; she will be laid to rest beside her late husband, Joseph G. Deleruyelle. Family and friends will gather for a private ceremony in October. Please consider a donation to hospice in her honor.

Williams-Thomas Westarea Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
