Jerry Watts, 52, of Lake Wales, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at the Lake Wales Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 11, 1961, in Clearwater, Fla., and has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a citrus truck driver and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved his family and grandchildren. He was a very passionate person for Christ, who touched the hearts and lives of many in the community.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Pamela Ann Watts; daughter, Bethany (Daniel) Watts Steverson of Lake Wales; sons, Brandon (Crystal) Watts, Matthew (Tiffany) Watts and Kelly (Shannon) Watts, all of Frostproof, Fla.; parents, Wilburn and Catherine Watts of Holiday, Fla.; sister, Kathleen Watts White of Odessa, Fla.; brother, Sandy (TeriLyn) Watts of Fayetteville, Ga.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation was held at 1 p.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Dr. Scott Markley officiating.
