Karl James Wittman

Karl James Wittman, 64, of Babson Park, died on July 23, 2014, while vacationing on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Born in Marshfield, Wis., he was the son of Betty Neder and her late husband, Jerome Frank Wittman.

He worked in the flooring industry and was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lorrynne Tocci Wittman; one son, James Frederick Wittman; two grandchildren, Tyler and Tucker Wittman; four sisters: Sandra Chebaro and husband, Malek, of Germany, Patricia Mathews of Ponte Vedra, Janice Thorp and husband, Steve of Winter Haven, and Karen Etheridge and husband Steve of Lakeland; three brothers: Charles Wittman of Babson Park, Duane Wittman and wife, Carol of Chester, Va., and Michael Wittman of Babson Park; as well as a sister-in-law, Lindy Allen and husband, Don of Hardy, Va., two brothers-in-law, Matt Tocci and wife Lisa of Winter Haven, and Rick Tocci.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Parkway, Suite 1, Marietta, Ga., 30067-6411.

Twiford Funeral Home, Manteo, N.C., is assisting the family with arrangements.
