Every Thursday evening men of the Lemon Bay Chord Company invite people who enjoy barbershop-style music to drop in at the Christ Lutheran Church fellowship hall in Englewood as they rehearse for upcoming shows and benefit performances.

On Thursday, Sept. 28, however, they’ll be performing in an extra special way. Under the leadership of Chorus Director Dr. Sarah Rideout Slight, they’ll be presenting a short program featuring favorites such as “Wait ’til the Sun Shines, Nellie” and “Let Me Call You Sweetheart.” They’ll also reprise several of the songs they performed in area churches over the summer, including “When the Saints Go Marchin’ In.”
