Harvest of Art, “The Visual Arts Center’s first and finest juried exhibit of traditional 2D art” exhibit takes place through Nov. 30 at the Visual Arts Center in Punta Gorda. The exhibit features 2D traditional media, pen and ink, pencil, scratchboard, hand printing techniques, 2D collage and digital graphic art.

“We call this VAC's 'First and Finest' because artists who work all year save their best work just for this show, the first annual juried art exhibit of the season. Holding an art competition early in the fall is a great way for us to welcome our seasonal visitors back to the Center and for locals to meet artists in person on Thursday, Nov. 2, when Centennial Bank is sponsoring a free wine and cheese reception for winning artists,” explained Michelle Lucia, VAC Communications Specialist.
