Nicknamed the "Enigma," the Dali Museum on the waterfront in St. Petersburg was named "one of the top buildings to see in your lifetime" in AOL Travel News.

The top of the free-standing circular staircase at the Dali Museum ends in the topmost area of the freeform geodesic dome of glass. This is said to be the only building of its kind in North America.

Salvador Dali would appreciate his museum in St. Petersburg, especially the undulating ribbon of glass window that seems inspired by Buckminster Fuller’s geodesic domes of the ‘60s.

Or perhaps it was inspired by some of the undulating designs by Dali himself — those slithering clock faces perhaps.
