A two-day juried Winter Fine Arts Festival will be featured this weekend on Historic Dearborn Street in Englewood. "We do not charge admission," explained chairman and community activist, Janet Landis, "but we do request a one dollar donation with proceeds benefiting Englewood community charities.

Streets will be blocked off to vehicle traffic from Mango Street to Cedar Street to allow for a pedestrian-only exhibition area." Landis and her crew of volunteers are happy that members of the junior varsity and varsity Lemon Bay High School girls soccer teams and soccer coach, Katie Cooke, will be greeting people and providing them with smiley face stickers at the gate. Members who volunteer earn credit for their community service.
