West Coast Black Theatre Troupe presents “The Whipping Man” as its second production of the season.

The Civil War is over and Passover has begun when Confederate Army Capt. Caleb DeLeon (Drew Foster) returns to find his Richmond home destroyed. DeLeon is Jewish as are his family’s two former slaves, Caleb (Robert Douglas) and Simon (Taurean Blacque).
