"Hello Dolly" by Michael Stewart with music and lyrics by Jerry Herman is one of the longest running musicals of all time. The play is about Dolly Levi who decides that she wants to marry Horace Vandergelder, the well-known half-a-millionaire.

Instead of matching Vandergelder with someone he has hired her to find, the ever-resourceful Dolly schemes throughout the play to bring romance back into her life. In the Charlotte Players' production, Dolly is being played by Melissa Cripps.
