Keep kids cool indoors with fun summer activities

Bowling facilities never had to worry about bringing on business in the past. Now, with more competition and an aging base, the sport looks to attract a new, younger following.

The new $5 million Morgan Family Community Center is nearly complete. Work is ongoing on the facility, off West Price Boulevard in North Port. The building is expected to open in the spring.

If the kids are bouncing off the walls, take them over to Leaping Lizards Indoor Fun Center to relieve some of their energy.
