The Rice House, tucked away in the middle of a large shopping center, is one of North Port's most popular Chinese/Thai restaurants.

Of course, they feature much more than rice, but their name is catchy and easy to remembers. Nancy Li and her husband Zu Gong, who relocated from China to New York's China Town years ago, settled in North Port in 2006. At first they specialized in offering Chinese combination meals, traditional fare that customers in the U.S. loved to order "to go."
