At 4:17 pm on Aug. 13, 2004, Hurricane Charley slammed into the Port Charlotte American Legion Post 110 and at that precise time their clock was wrenched off the foyer wall. The clock, never to start again now hangs in the reception area of the American Legion Post 110 as a timeless reminder of that day.
