The Lake Wales Care Center will hold its annual Run Like You Care 5k and 10k races (walk or run) and the Kids Fun Run on Saturday, April 5. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and is $20 per person, and includes goodie bags and T-shirts. The event features fun for the whole family, with activities and bounce houses for the kids. The 10k race starts at 8 a.m., the 5k starts at 8:30 a.m. The race will be on the shores of Lake Wailes across from Kiwanis Park, 1100 N Lakeshore Blvd.
