Peachland Blvd. traffic signal gets green light

Work crews are preparing a 54-acre site for a new development at Peachland and Loveland boulevards. The project will include 256 rental apartments, 119 villas and townhouses for sale, and 195,000 square feet of commercial space. A 12-month construction schedule is anticipated.

MURDOCK — Charlotte officials estimate the new traffic signal at the intersection of Peachland and Loveland boulevards will be installed in early spring.

County Public Works Director Danny Quick said the completed design plans are now under review and will soon go out to bid.
