ENGLEWOOD — The Lemon Bay High School girls cross country team put its frustrations this season behind it Saturday, repeating as district champion by winning the District 2A-12 title behind depth and smart running.

The Manta Rays placed three runners in the top five to win the title and qualify for the regional meet next weekend. Leading the way for the Mantas was sophomore Abigayle Weinfeld with a second-place finish of 20 minutes, .09.86 seconds.
