ARCADIA — As the final whistle blew Tuesday night signaling an end to DeSoto County High School’s season, the pain across the Bulldogs’ faces was evident. Not because the 2-1 loss to Bishop Verot represented a lack of effort, but because each player knew just how close they had come.
