Diocese fires back at bishop’s critics

VENICE — The Diocese of Venice says the anonymous critics who are trying to force Bishop Frank Dewane out of his position have no credibility.
Accusations of bullying, intimidation and secrecy by Dewane are set forth in a letter under the letterhead “The Diocese of Venice in Florida Pastors and Priests” dated Jan. 17, to Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, in Washington, D.C.
