He lay prostrate for three to four minutes on the hard floor in front of the altar in Epiphany Cathedral’s sanctuary in Venice as prayers of the Litany were chanted — all to become a Priest.

Leszek Trojanowski was taking the final step on a long journey toward Priesthood. The Most Rev. Frank J. Dewane, Bishop of the Diocese of Venice, administered the final rite of passage July 19 during a solemn Ordination ceremony.
