Ramirez: I can make a difference

Lourdes Ramirez was never involved in politics up north, but said that she now finds it “almost addictive.”

She’s seeking the District 4 County Commission seat now held by Nora Patterson, who is leaving due to term limits. She faces Al Maio for the Republican nomination in the Aug. 26 primary, with the winner taking on Democrat Ray Porter and John Minder, who is running without party affiliation, in the November General Election.
