The weather is finally turning to that cool, relatively dry season of early winter here in Southwest Florida.
The landscape is a bit olive-colored, and many plants are taking a rest or at least a pause. Some plants may even get damaged if we get a frost or freeze. There are plants, however, that actually do well this time of year. They need the cold, relatively frigid weather of our Florida winter to shine and sparkle. The one plant that comes to mind is the pansy.
