They were a part of Newcomer Day held at the George Mullen Activity Center, a program held several times a year to help people just moving to North Port.

The city of North Port’s Parks & Recreation Division hosted “North Port Newcomer Day” on Saturday at the George Mullen Activity Center.

The expo-like event featured information tables run by more than 40 community organizations, government agencies and local businesses.
