Local lawyer plans to host community cleanup day

NORTH PORT — Alicia Phidd may be new to North Port, but she’s already making an effort to make her new home a better place.
Phidd adopted South Biscayne Drive from Cheseboro Avenue to Lars Road, and plans to host a clean-up on Jan. 13.
