Forecast shows lows in the 30s

To call “winter” a season in Florida is typically a stretch as every new year comes around. The sun is high and the leaves remain the same old color they’ve always shown. The usual Florida “winter” is expected for next week, although slightly colder.

Despite the state’s sunny skies, Charlotte County residents should keep their winter clothes and heaters on hand because low temperatures look to be in the 30s, according to the National Weather Service.
