SARASOTA COUNTY — Sarasota County commissioners voiced concerns Tuesday about the North Port City Commission’s view of past events regarding the Warm Mineral Springs Day Spa saga. One commissioner went as far as to say nothing will change until there’s a city election.
County Commissioner Christine Robinson said that at several points during an Oct. 28 City Commission meeting, there were references to plans and resolutions offered by North Port that were shot down by the county. The two governments jointly own the 81-acre Springs, which has been closed since June 30.
