Insurance ends for disabled NPHS student

NORTH PORT — Although a recent fundraiser to help a disabled North Port High School student raised nearly $1,465 and counting to help his family get him treatment at the Mayo Clinic, the money might be used for a more immediate need.

Manny Galan’s health insurance ran out Nov. 30.
