Supporters press on to reopen spa

One after another, residents of Warm Mineral Springs and North Port spoke out Saturday about reopening Warm Mineral Springs Day Spa, which was closed on June 30. Members of the Save Our Springs group are trying to decide if they want to register with the state and become a real association to help fight for the Springs.

About 250 people gathered Saturday to learn what could be done to reopen Warm Mineral Springs Day spa, which is owned jointly by the city of North Port and Sarasota County.
