NORTH PORT — If Imagine School at North Port doesn’t enroll about 200 new students by August, it faces a $1.5 million budget deficit — so the principals at both the elementary and upper campuses have been doing all they can to market the school throughout the city.
In December, Imagine upper campus principal Steve Black walked with an assistant principal from the elementary campus along the Poinsettia Parade route in North Port, shaking hands. They told anyone interested about the accomplishments at the city’s only charter school.
