North Port police still looking for second burglary suspect

NORTH PORT — One person is in custody in connection with an attempted Tuesday morning burglary of an unoccupied home on Sheboygan Avenue, during which police prevented the theft of an air-conditioning unit, according to reports.

Holmes Beach, Fla., resident Kaitlin Elizabeth Hall, 23, was charged with burglary, possession of drug paraphernalia and accessory after the fact after she was found sleeping in the passenger seat of a gold, late-model sedan in the 2800 block of Sheboygan, off North Cranberry Boulevard, around 8:45 a.m.
