NORTH PORT — Should Warm Mineral Springs’ 81 acres be developed commercially, or should it remain as park lands? That’s the question a group wants placed on the Aug. 26 ballot so voters can decide.
Warm Mineral Springs, which is owned by the city and Sarasota County, has been closed since June 30 after the boards failed to secure a contract for a new operator.
