NORTH PORT — Upon hearing a referendum may be on the Aug. 26 ballot regarding development at Warm Mineral Springs Day Spa and its 81 acres, City Commissioner Rhonda DiFranco said she won’t stop working on a long-term plan to reopen the tourist attraction.
“I have every intention of moving forward on the long-term agreement,” DiFranco wrote in an email to the Sun. “However, I will move forward with responsible development.”
