SARASOTA COUNTY — A 23-year-old North Port man was interviewing for a job with the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office in January and, during a polygraph test, he admitted to having pornography on his computer. But when he brought his computer in for examination the next day, his potential employer discovered dozens of pornographic images depicting children, according to a sheriff’s report.
Jordan Donald Bentley, of the 4400 block of Compton Lane, was charged with 22 felony counts of possession of child pornography, following the Sheriff’s Office investigation that started Jan. 23, after Bentley went to interview for a communications operator position the previous day.
