New program makes laptops available at library

NORTH PORT — Thirty laptops will soon be available for student — and parent — use at the North Port Library through a new digital learning lab.

Library manager Carolann Palm-Abramoff said they were provided with funding for the laptops from the Education Foundation of Sarasota County through the Texellence program, which also will be paying for trainers for digital classes.
