SARASOTA COUNTY — “Kill him, he is a bad man. Kill him, he is a bad man.”

Those are the words that were running through Michael Rice’s head just moments before he pulled out a Glock 27 pistol and shot Philippe Nahon in the head on May 26, 2012, at a boutique hotel in Osprey, according to Assistant Public Defender Jerome Meisner.
