NORTH PORT — In an effort to be more financially conservative, Imagine School at North Port is cutting back by eliminating a full-time teacher position and reducing several teachers to part-time staff at the upper campus.

The restructuring is being done for financial reasons that have nothing to do with the ability of the staff involved, said Steven Black, principal at the charter school’s upper campus.
