Norman B. Hatch, 83, of Monson, Mass., and North Port, Fla., passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2015.
He was born Aug. 27,1932, in Springfield, Mass., son of Carl and Barbara (King) Hatch.
Norm was raised in Hampden, Mass., and lived over 50 years in Monson. He and his wife Janet also wintered in North Port, for over 20 years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Norman was the owner of Hatch Company where he started in the home delivery of oil and finished in waste management. Norman was a Mason and served on the Monson Fire Dept.
He is survived by three children; Norma (Harold) Santos Clark of Henderson, Tenn., Russell (Sarah) Hatch of Monson, and Donald Hatch of Cape Cod, Mass.; brothers, Rollyn of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Lawrence Hatch of Hampden. Norman was preceded in death by his wife, Janet (nee. Berry) Hatch, in 2009; and brother, Richard Hatch, in 2015.
