Marion Sclafani, 94, of North Port, Fla., passed away Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at the Englewood, Fla., Hospice House.
Marion was born Nov. 28, 1919, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of Christopher and Caroline (nee Jacobson) Scozzari.
She moved to North Port in 1972 from New Jersey, and was a member of San Pedro Catholic Church.
Marion is survived by her children, Nathan Sclafani of Kingston, N.Y., and Cecelia (David) McAuliffe and Marian (Richard) Owen, both of North Port; grandchildren, David III, Kim and Bradley; and great-grandchildren, Sean B., Heather, Michele, Isabella and Brayden; along with other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Marion was preceded in death by her husband, John; and son, Michael.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, at Farley Funeral Home, North Port Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at San Pedro Church.
