ENGLEWOOD — The Charlotte County championship is back in the hands of Port Charlotte High School.

The Pirates won the team competition Wednesday at Lemon Bay High School, scoring 54 points to 42 for Charlotte and 13 for Lemon Bay. Charlotte won the team championship last year, breaking a long string of victories by the Pirates.
