Maddon said their was nothing wrong with the veteran right-hander, and Balfour proved it in the Rays’ spring training home finale at Charlotte Sports Park. Balfour one-hit the Baltimore Orioles over a scoreless fifth inning, striking out one and routinely hitting 90-92 mph on the radar gun.
