ROTONDA WEST — Joseph Brower, a World War II veteran who built the house he lives in Rotonda West and once bowled a 299, got a Father’s Day surprise from three generations of family on Wednesday.
Brower plays golf with his daughter Dianna Hedges every Wednesday afternoon, but on this day they were joined by his grandson, Derrick Hedges, and his great-grandson, Trevor Hedges. The four-generation foursome played a round together as a way to celebrate both Father’s Day and Brower’s 89th birthday, which was May 20.
